There is nothing about stopping Naturalisation, it's about the new requirement in the sense of English language and Life in the UK test.

This Country's statements is backed by Written Evidence and as far as I am concerned there no sigle link or document which proves that statement.

If anyone found it then feel free to post it on this forum.

hi all,

Thank you all for the useful input. BUT please don't hijack the thread with naturalisation.

The thread is for SET (Protection Route)

If you guys set up another thread for naturalisation, it would great .

Cheers,

hello tab0287

Good Evening here from Glasgow, I am very contented and felt glad to see you have been granted as you were the August club congratulation;, can you post your timeline sir; by reading your previous posts i have learn t that you have applied your set protection on 20th of August literally four days before me can you put on your exact timeline, when you have applied? when you receive the biometric enrollment, when did you enroll it? and exactly which date you have received the ILR documents.

and finally the very important point which is did you apply as a family or a single? the reason is I found out those who are families are got delayed their timelie than the single, so if you give us the idea apparently you will build up our hope, again congrats sir and still we are counting our days.

I hope Doodo will be next as he was a great veteran here

Thank you Doodo and mhasan!

We applied on the 20 August as a family, my wife (who wasn't included in my original app) and 2 children. Biometrics received on the 22.10.2012 and done on the 23. the date of biometric letter was 5 October. Today we received our old documents by registered post and 15 minutes later a man presented himself as an immigration courier brought the cards. Before giving it he asked names of people one by one and then submitted it.
:?
I don't know if everyone got it this way or this is a new rule.

Congrats, It tells you roughly that documents are sent around 3 months post the bimetric submission, although some cases are different to others...fingers crossed for all to recieve their documents ASAP.

Hello everybody,

My timeline:
Applied on the 30/08/2012.
Biometric submitted on the 19/10/2012 and the letter was dated 09/10/2012.
ILR Documents: still pending and waiting!!

I didn't expect to wait so long..it's really frustrating!

Good luck to everyone!

Travel Document after ILR granted

Post by alex_shvjac » Sat Jan 26, 2013 1:41 pm

Hi, guys
As you all probably know, I have received my ILR on 7th January 2013. My 18 months old boy has got ILR as well, but my wife got 2.5yr dependant visa.
I have been all over the moon until I read a few posts about Travel Document application.
Some people are waiting for 6+ months for their Conventional Travel Documents, so I am just wondering, has any of you, successful ILR holders, got Travel Document and if so, how long it took you to obtain one.
Please don't tell me it takes another half a year to get it done!!!
Please share the timelines with me
Thanks all
Alex

I don't think they have a criteria, otherwise they would have mentioned it in their website, I guess its just their random and primitive system, which makes things turn out unfair...I have many friends in other European countries going through the same procedures, and from what they tell me, I understand that the UK is the worst when comes to such things, things are far more organised with them than with here....you still have time though before the 6 months run out. I've been delayed too, My application was sent on 14-August, biometric sent on 19 October, and nothing yet!!!! keep fingers crossed buddy :o
