Just to contribute to the information that gets shared on this page, here's some of my details:

Applied: 08/11/12
Acknowledgment letter: 12/11/12
Biometric letter: 14/11/12
Biometrics submitted: 19/11/12

No information since... Not that this is unexpected... However I've had a few questions, would really appreciate if anyone shares any information regarding these:

1. Is there any dedicated phone number to get an update on the status of the visa application? The only one I could find was the one for Immigration Enquiry Bureau in my Biometric Letter. It says to contact them only if my details are submitted incorrectly, but not for any other reason. Is this the right number to call in all other cases?
2. I have applied through the PSW route however have not yet invested in the business. I hold all of the funds in the UK-based bank. Does anyone know whether having the funds inside the UK can affect the application to be processed faster compared to when the funds are held in the overseas bank?

Thanks in advance for any feedback and good luck with your applications.
1.there is phone line for update on visa status u cn finnd it onn ukba website bt u cnt check ur status within 6 mnths daz wat dey recon.
2.Funds in d UK account cn mk it easier for d case officer to check reliability nd cn spped up d process, bt end of d day wid d UKBA processing tym is all bout luck.

Hi Win,

Congrats for getting Visa.

Do you have any detail information on how your investment funds are verified with abroad Bank?

1) Did they call your bank manager ? or
2) Did they mail your bank manager ? or
3) Did they fax any verification form to your bank / your bank manager ?
4) Did they verify the funds on verification date or your application date or as per your bank letter issued date ?
5) Could you please share any other information if you have about your investment funds verification process.

Do you think that UK refuses the Visa if we maintain the investment funds in abroad bank for couple of days ,get documentation and apply for visa and after that with draw the money -

hi Buntyz,

so sorry to hear about your mother health hope she will get well soon and I understand you sent letter requesting to speed up your application and they end up calling you that you can withdraw the case if you want to travel. This is crazy I don't know myself how long they will take to decide the application which they received in January 2013, may be 12 months if they carry on working at the speed the currently are.

ridiculous

Update on My Application

Post by rehan01 » Sat Jan 26, 2013 1:14 pm

Just an update on my case

Tier 1 Team Applciation Submitted : 07/01/2013 (Joint Application with Team member and 1 Dependant all documents sent together)

Acknowledgement letter received : 14/04/2013 (Letter dated 10/01/2013)

Biometric Invitation Letter received: 26/01/2013 (Letter dated 23/01/2013)

Look like UKBA is picking up speed with the application process or this speeding process will stop here ?

As most of the people on this forum have given there biometric and they are waiting for 6 months so let c what happened after this and will keep u guys updated.

good luck everyone.

regards

They haven't updated the processing time for a while now. Doesn't sound optimistic at all.

Yes, and if you see Tier 1 (G) date, the applications processed are ahead from the bio date set on Tier 1 (G) processing time page.
