ILR docs list and appointment

Post by salman83 » Fri Jan 25, 2013 1:28 pm

Hi,
My Tier-1 (General) visa is about to expire in 12-May along with my wife visa as well. I want to know how early should I make an appointment for ILR premimum service and whats the procedure to make an appointment as the website always give me no dates at all even on the midnight.

Also, what is the list of documents do I need along with the application form.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Appointment slots are only released onto the system 42 days in advance.

Thanks for the info.

Then how to make an appointment as I do not see any appointment in the next 42 days.

Also, what is the list of docs required for ILR (for main applicant and dependant).

For the appointment just keep checking and you will find some slot. New appointment are release over night around midnight. It is quite tough to get an appointment but keep trying.

For documents start by reading SET(O). Also read FAQ here http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=79378

Not sure why people are awake at midnight, may be that's due to crowd following Croydon PEO the most.

I did it in the morning around 6:30, and easily lot of slots were free. Infact I will be rescheduling, so shouldn't be a problem. Keep a tab over 42nd days schedule. Today might be going on for 8/9th march I guess.
I have my ILR since march 2013, previously based on HSMP+Tier1 ext. All views are my own, am not a professional on immigration matters.

crusador0408, I think you are talking about applicant without any dependent. Getting appointment with dependents is very difficult at any time.

Its so unfortunate that one cannot get appointment these days if you have dependents, Are they trying to discourage applicants with dependents from using the premium service: Whenever they release the slots its always appointments without dependents. Is there any way we could speak to the UKBA regarding this.

psTier1, you were right! I tried without dependents. But it did show with 1 dependent as well...may be prob for 2 or more.
