Salary consideration, Tier-1 extension

Post by sk.sunshu » Sun Jan 27, 2013 2:11 pm

HI, I worked for X and Y companies on salaried positions. Company X pays 4 weekly, Company Y pays monthly. I am showing from Dec 2011 to Nov 2012.In Dec 2011 I got 2 pays from Company X on 2/12/2011 and 30/12/2012 as it is a 4 weekly paying organization. So the pay which i got on 2/12/2011 is for the 4 week work which I did in Nov 2011 but got my pay on 2nd dec 2011 which is falling in the month which I am claiming.
My question is this pay valid for claiming?
please advise.

Regards
Sharath

If the pay you received on 2/12/2011 from employer X is distinct with a payslip (indicating that it was your pay for the month of Nov 2011 from employer X) and bank statement entry, you should not include this as part of your previous earnings for the period you have mentioned (Dec 2011 - Nov 2012), as it clearly falls outside of that 12 month period.

Are you asking this question, as you would not otherwise qualify with the necessary points? Or for some other reason?

HI Guru,
On the salary slip it doent mention the period of work, all it got is pay date 02/12/2012 and that's when i got the pay in to my account as well.
And also as I am showing up to Nov 2012, the last week pay of Nov 2012 I got paid the following Friday which is falling in DEC 2012. So do I need to consider this. I am director of my limited company. I spoked the situation with my accountant. he said the expenditure and profit as to be shown for month ending Nov 2012, so how to consider the week pay which i got paid the following Friday(07/12/2012). Off course I obtained the letter from recruitment consultant explaining all.
how to take the situation forward.
see if i include 02/12/2011 payslip I am gaining 650, but i am losing my last week pay which is getting paid on 07/12/2012 amount of 870.
tricky situation and confused and I got my interview in 10 days.
plz advise
sharath

Can you answer my question above, as what you are saying here is not clear. Are you saying you do not qualify with the required points if you do not use the pay reflected in that payslip towards your previous earnings?

HI cs95tdg,
I am showing my income in the form of salary and dividends. But not sure about Ho will consider Net dividends or Gross dividends as the income. If they consider net dividends I need to include the pay, but if they consider gross dividend then not a problem even I don't include the pay.

I know many people post that UKBA will consider Gross dividends but some people posted as Net dividends.
No problem I decided not to include my 02/12/2011 payslip, but include my last week pay of Nov 2012 which got paid in 1st week of Dec 2012 with a covering letter from the accountant and the recruitment consultant.

Please reply if you know what UKBA consider Net or Gross dividend?

Thanks
sharath
