T1 Ent GBP 900 statement

Post by wpilr_nov12 » Tue Jan 29, 2013 3:57 pm

Does the UK bank statement showing 900 pounds for three months have to be original bank statements? Can it be an ad-hoc statement on plain A4 paper, signed/stamped by bank.

Thanks

Ad hoc bank statements may also be considered as long as these are printed on a paper with bank logo on it. And these must be signed and stamped by bank.

Thanks for the reply.

What if it is on plain paper, but stamped/signed. It was accepted for my ILR, but not sure for T1Ent (my brother is applying) from PSW with all UK fund (50K) on own account.

It will be accepted on plain A4 too but get it printed in Branch even if on A4 paper doesn't matter as it will print bank name and if bank stamp and verify it for you it will be fine ....

worse case scenario UKBA will request to send new statement etc.

I have been doing this for a quite few times now by showing my funds on the headed bank letter. No bank statements whatsoever and I never had any issues. I believe as long as it's on headed paper, you are good to go.

but statement need to be stamped by bank and verified as true copies otherwise not accepted by ukba and details are available in policy guidance.
