1. Current vignette: Tier 1 (General) extension
2. Date of expiry of current leave: 25 Jan 2013
3. Number of dependents applying at same time: 2
4. Date application posted: 3/12/2012
5. Date application received at UKBA: 04/12/2012
6. Date payment debited: 07/12/2012
7. Payment mode : Visa Debit card
8. Acknowledgement letter received: 08/12/2012
9. Bio-metric letter received: 18/12/2013
10. Date of bio-metrics enrollment: 20/12/2012
11. Date of approval: 28/01/2013
12. Date of return of passport and other documents: 30/01/2012
13. Date (new) leave to remain valid from: 3 YEARS
14. Date BRP received: waiting for it now.

Please note that i did not expedite my case. it was all normal by post. thanks to ALLAH ALMIGHTY and members of this beautiful forum.

i was employed and also employed by my own company. i applied as an employee of my limited company from where i was only taking dividends.

anyways congrats OP!

My T1 dates are close to yours although I applied just before expiry, which is early January 2013. I had a mess with payment but seems like it has been finally taken and im praying for Biometrics letter to arrive in post to make sure my application is at least valid!

may I know what is the average processing time for Tier 1 (G) extension ?
