Many thanks for your reply.wpilr_nov12 wrote:First you and your husband both need to have ILR status, and after 12 months of that, both can apply for Naturalization.
Employment / income is not a requirement for Naturalization application.

I thought it's part of a good character requirement!
Is it a requirement for ILR? I mean for my husband.
For clarity - shouldn't an ILR applicant now need to pass certain income threshold?wpilr_nov12 wrote:NOsummer08 wrote:Many thanks for your reply.wpilr_nov12 wrote:First you and your husband both need to have ILR status, and after 12 months of that, both can apply for Naturalization.

That would depend upon the type of visa held, when they apply for their ILR.For clarity - shouldn't an ILR applicant now need to pass certain income threshold?

In this case the applicant is the dependant of a PBS visa holder. There is absolutely no requirement for such a dependant to have paid work, prior to applying for their ILR.
There is a separate ILR section on these forums.. you will get better response there.summer08 wrote:Dear John,John wrote:That would depend upon the type of visa held, when they apply for their ILR.For clarity - shouldn't an ILR applicant now need to pass certain income threshold?

Thank you very much for your clear reply. I would be very grateful if you could advise on the following;
In 2009 my husband received fixed penalty ticket type( G )£60 Endorseable (pink ticket)issued by a police officer while he was parking in front of my son's school( PC30).He paid the fine by telephone and got 3 points on his driving licence.
He didn't mention it in his application form when we applied for extension
of our stay as T1 G migrant as he thinks its not a criminal convection,however, I'm going to use one form now to apply for ILR including my dependants and very confused about this fine whether to disclose it or not.
The SET(O) form 7.2 note asks to give details for all criminal convections including traffic offences but not fixed penalty notices unless they were part of a sentence of the court!
I'm in a dilemma what should I do? please help
