Hi All,
For SOC code in section-j.PDF at first page there is a statement "Appropriate salary rates are based on a 37½ hour working week, unless otherwise stated. Salaries should be pro-rated for other working patterns" Here is the link: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary

Please can anyone explain me what it’s representing?

I am already in TIER 2 General and when I applied first time that time there was no minimum salary level. Only general i.e. Salary should be £20k. In my first application my Title was Database Analyst. and I am still in same role and I need to extent my TIER 2 and have seen it match SOC code 3132 (IT user support technicians) as a Database Analyst Title minimum salary is mentioned £31,200 according to section-j.pdf.

My question- this salary is based on 37½ hour working week, then if I work 35 hours per week then my salary will be £29,000 according to “Appropriate salary rates are based on a 37½ hour working week, unless otherwise stated. Salaries should be pro-rated for other working patterns".

Then £29,000 salary will fulfil the requirements to eligible for TIER 2 Extention or I need to get £32,100 that is mentioned in the PDF.

please specify the salary that I need to get to apply for the extension.

Dude what is your problem? Why are you creating same posts again and again? You might get banned next time.

You didn't specifiy in your first post that you were going for extension.

You should already have enough information on this as you have gone through this Tier 2 Pain. If you salary is even less by £0.1 your visa will be refused straightaway.

Now,rather than wasting time on creating duplicate-posts ,go and ask HR to sort this out for ya.

Might be either your eyes have problem or you can't read. In my messages I have mentioned That Database Analyst is my first title and still I am in same role and want to extent in same postion that match SOC code 3132.

I am requesting to Admin, Please can you blocked muhdkhokhar
like user who doesn't have any eye and misleading people.
