Outside uk 160 days Tier 1

Post by syedaliuk » Tue Feb 12, 2013 10:50 am

switched to tier 1 visa on in March 2008 from student visa.

17 March 2008 - 16 March 2009 went to India for 160 days. Went on annual leave. Was working for myself.
17 March 2009 - 16 March 2010 20 days absence
17 March 2010 - 16 March 2011 25 days absence
17 March 2011 - 16 March 2012 None
17 March 2012 - 16 March 2013 None yet.

Now my question what proof I can show for my 160 days out of the country as I don't have any proof as I was working for my self.. I have read the rules and it seems like I don't have to show any if the days are less than 180. Can someone just let me know. A yes or no will do.

Thanks for the help.

If you were on Tier 1 at that point of time, you dont have to show an absence proof unless its compelling or compassionate.
