That is card expiry date. This is just like driving license or credit card.

As already said it is just the expiry of the card and not the ILR itself.
However this does seem a bit odd, i thought BRP have an expiry date of 10 years for ILR. When did you get it mate?
Can someone please comment if i am correct or not about 10 years expiry???

I have indefinite leave to remain in the UK in 2002. I have a letter and a stamp stating indefinite leave to remain in the UK in my old passport. I have to bring my current and old passport whenever I travel overseas (I am a Singapore citizen). Last trip when I return from oversea an Indian BA gentleman at the Luton airport counter told me I can apply for Biometric Indefinite leave to remain in the UK card. I have been searching through the www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk but the Biometric card (form TD112 BRP) is for the new application/refugee/stateless/you want to leave and not come back/refuse a passport by your own national authorities.

Can anyone please kindly point me to which website or which form for existing indefinite leave to remain in the UK to apply for Biometric card?

I was enrolled to Heathrow Iris system then the BA has decided to scrap it. It was a wonderful system and it provided hassle free easy and I did not need to wait for long.

Thank you in advance.
