what benefits for full time students with ILR??

I am thinking of going back to full time study???
I have ILR.....wife on old rule spouse visa....and 2yr british child.
I was wondering what benefits i would get if i leave my current part time job and go for a full time 3yr degree course!!

Any ideas.....thank you.

You need to apply for British passport first to be classed as UK citizen and then get charged for home fees not international fees

Note that even if you meet the immigration status/residency requirements for home fees you may not be eligible if you already have an equivalent or higher qualification. Would suggest you speak to your prospective university for advice.

Just one point.. British Citizenship is granted at the Citizenship ceremony, after which you can apply for a British passport if you choose.

What benefits you would be entitled to is not a straightforward issue as it depends on your financial and personal circumstances. It will also be subject to change due to the implementation of universal credit. You should speak to a benefits advisor for example at cab or financial advisor at your prospective university for advice based on your circumstances.
