any difference between tax reference or tax office reference

I am filling An form and want to know
if there is any difference between tax reference and tax office reference?

I have tax reference number from one of my letter from HMRC and also address too.

would it be the same address which Ii have on letter from HMRC?

Yes the address is on your HMRC letters

What AN form is referring to the tax office reference which is employer reference usually found on payslips/P60s...but may be sometimes on HMRC letter if you due a refund of tax or something.

It's usually in the format XXX/YYXXXXX

where first 3 numbers are tax office area code

and tax office address is usually the corresponding PO box number as listed on this website

Anyways, you need to either provide reference number or address and not required to provide both.

Yes, you need to provide the most recent one.
I hope you received P45 from your prev employer and submitted a copy to your new employer.
You can also mention both the ref numbers if you have just recently changed job....will do no harm.
As long as a correct NI number is provided, HMRC can trace all tax records - so nothing to worry.
