Hi Forum,
I intend to study towards CFA, which Naric rates as NQF level 7.
However they also rate each level as:
Level 1 : NQL level 5
Level 2 : NQF level 6
Level 3 : NQL Level 7
I can study an NQF level 7 course for a maximum of 3 years and because I have already done my Masters for 1.5 years, I can only undertake studies for another 1.5 years in a level 7 course.
Now since, for CFA, first 2 levels are less than level 7 I could study a course falling under these levels for another 3 years.
My question is : If I undertake CFA will level 1 will it be considered as a level 5 course by UKBA and if yes, am I allowed to switch from a higher nqf level 7 to lower nqf level 5 (or 6) ?
I will appreciate you feedback on this.
Many Thanks,
AMajid
