Tier-@ general to ILR

Post by Ratheesh » Tue Mar 05, 2013 11:06 am

Hello,

I'm came to UK in Dec 2010 on Tier-2 ICT. I have completed almost 2.5 years and I'm given to understand I'll not be eligible to apply for ILR upon completion of 5 years. I'm renewing my VISA now, can anyone suggest if I renew it under Tier-2 General, Will I be eligible for ILR after 5 years?

Cheers
Ratheesh

If you get Tier 2 Genaral visa , as per current rules you will be eligible for ILR in 5 years from time of Tier2 Genaral Stamping.
