Tier 2 ICT -> Tier 2 General -> ILR Possible??

Post by bruce.wayne » Sat Mar 09, 2013 7:37 pm

Hell Experts,

I am in the process of switching my Tier 2 ICT Long Term Visa to Tier 2 General. I am changing my job, thus changing my sponsor. My initial leave to remain was issued before April, 2010 and thus hopefully this process would go through...

My question is, does it affect my eligibility for ILR when I would eventually complete continuous 5 years stay? Would the clock start ticking from when the new Visa is issued or would the past few years of continuous employment in UK would be taken into consideration even though the Visa has changed?

Any of your experiences or thoughts would be fantastic to learn...
