ILR New Fees vs. current form, when exactly comes into effec

Post by candle » Sat Mar 09, 2013 7:45 pm

I have booked appt online on 27Feb early morning and applying in person 10april.

My query is about new fees and discrepancy with current form.
And what is 6 april linked to - people booking any appointments after 6 april, appointmets of 6 april onwards irrespective of when booked..etc

On completion of 5yr qualifying period
based on work permit my application has two dependants.

The form Set(o) is still on Ukba website, which shows
£2755 for my case.

If ukba are going to change form on 6th april,
to coincide with change of fees coming into effect,
then I will only have three days to fill form?

And what about those having appointment on the 6th itself.

Please experts advise Fees breakdown in my case,
and form scenario.

Don't worry. To=date they have not mentioned about a new form from 06/04.They will give advance information about changing. You have to keep on checking. They will allow you to use the present form on #10/04.

New Form will be instroduced when the new fees is approved in the Parliament. You will have enough time to fill it.

I have been checking UKBA web site every day. Only news is that about change of Visa Fees and SOC code New salaries from 06/04. Don't know whether they are going to change the Immigration Rules too and then introduce a New SET O form.

This situation is very tricky and the best advise is to contact UKBA staff to get the accurate answer.
Please donot send PM. Write in open forum to facilitate others too.

Thank you. Also, please advise on the fee breakdown.
Is it going to be £3752 (because appt date is after 10april) instead of £2755 for me?
