FLR(HSMP) Issued in Wrong NAME???

Post by meggles » Thu Mar 15, 2007 8:57 am

after three weeks of waiting, my FLR(HSMP) arrived (in my passport). the cover letter explaining the visa is addressed to me.

however, the visa inside has the wrong last name. it reads HOMER when my last name is HORNER.

is this something i need to get fixed? can i travel over easter (1st weekend april) carrying the letter that has my properly spelled last name and then get it fixed afterwards.

argh.

HORNER AND HOMER ARE TWO DIFFERENT NAMES....YOU MUST SEND THE PASSPORT BACK AND GET THE NAME CHANGED......OTHERWISE YOU WOULD HAVE LOT OF PROBLEM AS YOUR NAME ON PASSPORT IS DIFFERENT TO YOUR NAME IN VISA....

ok... finally got through to their number. they gave me another number- work permit number. they told me to send it in and get it changed- they said they could do it in a week. they said to send it directly to the case worker who had signed the letter.
