Senior Level Experience

Post by Random » Thu Aug 26, 2004 8:04 am

Folks,
I am preparing for the HSMP application and am planning to claim points for senior experience.

The organisation I works in is an MNC ((Top 5 FTSE co.) and has a very flat organisation. The seniority/importance in our organisation depends on the size of deal being handled by the engagement manager (as we are in infrastructure buisness). So If I am handling an engagement for investment upto $ 350 Mn and am leading a team (not direct reporting) on that, will that be considered as a senior level experience?

Also If I draw out an organogram on a plain paper, is it admissible or considered. I report to a general manager who report to the CEO. On most engagements, I report directly to the CEO and there are no direct reportees to me.

In my earlier job, it is clearly said on the letter that I was leading teams on a nationwide basis for two departments. But that organisation is very small and unlisted company.

Any views/feedback/suggestions.

Thanks

Dear Random

I think you hold the senior level position if present them the organogram that shows you a sibling to your CEO or VPs of your organisation.

This exp. also depends upon the reference letters that shud clearly state the designation, start n end dates, DUTIES and Responsibilities.

You will be eligible if you can obtain the same.

Best of Luck.
Regards,
Afzal

Will just reference/experience letter from my current and previous employers will suffice for claiming experience points. The reference letter consists of my responsibilities, level within organisation (a statement), start and end dates.

Do I need to provide anything beyond this to claim experience points.

Thanks
