As have most of people, myself included all the way to citizenship!! I have never experienced any of the problems that you seem to have experienced at Croydon or with dealing with UKBA and am sorry that you are in the minority of people who do, but there really is no need to insult people on the forum as 'all bad quality and liars'

well said!

you managed to sort out compaints to the MP, ombudsman and also received an advice/confirmation within a span of couple of hours or am I reading the dates wrong?

why are you stressing onthe fact that the CW was 'asian'? whats wrong with the fact that he /she was asian?

and 3 months who come from abroad n give ILR? what does that mean? can you elaborate on that?

now people who are on 900 absences in 5 years are ALLOWED to apply ILR and now they have case workers who can approve anyway then i drove to liverpool where my case was hold etc...

I drove from London to solihull then solihull to liverpool then back to london ... who will pay for my petrol ?????????? parking ?????????

i took photo copies as well. she didn't say thank you for that...

please member its your hard earned money.... do no take photo copies... save your money..... save every penny............

'They smile when they have to prrint the mass apology letters saying they're holding your passport and you can come back for it tomorrow.'

they smile because they don't have to do any thing tension is released and they dont have to keep files put in the system. applicant details that he is approved

'The caseworker told me that I could have applied up to a maximum of 28 days after my Current Tier 1 Visa expired. I asked her where in the rules is this mentioned but she had no answer for me.'

28 day rule is NOT in immigration rule....its guidance only.

i laugh on this joke 'David Cameron goes to India to beg students to move to the UK yet he didn't fix the police computer network first.'

'I didnt deserve this result or lack of it today but I'm surprised that most of the success stories are not reflecting the horrific reality I've experienced today.'

you are right..... people here just told their straight forward application stories.... they wont tell every thing

like i tell you i have been interviewed 1 hour with 2 case workers on my application and suprisingly both were dumb .....

i did had a interview like i'm a culprit ..... they were asking questions as they were police officers .... infront of my wife and i was feeling so embarrassed ....
if some budy had told me that this can happen i was prepared for that.. but here.......people don't help in that sense.... i remember there was similar case like mine and she went to solihull and got approved....

i told her in PM can you send me your employer letter.... she was so selfish and scared that i have asked her nude picture.....

can you beleive .... Senior case worker asked why your tax is not paid... i said if you operate through company there is a time when tax is due on you... he didnt understand again asked same thing... why the tax is not paid....such a stupid CW.

i was thinking I'm a lawyer. Senior case worker don't know about how company operate and its tax issues....

i wish you success tomorroww.... we all are with you ..... do give us good news tomorrow.... :)
Mate! What a horror story. I think at Solihull recently they are having trainee CWs. You have to give the list of documents you submitted. To understand your case better.I believe you are a Tier1 applicant. Has the senior CW delayed the decision?

you easily accept and believe if member said their application is successsful etc ....

well new case worker ..... she told me I'm new and its my first day and they guy indian/pakistani will guide her ..... he keeps on making her laugh and she was not serving US and keep on saying... sorry sorry ....

i was served after 1 hour of my appointment you know why ?? because they made announcement that sorry there is a delay ... cause we have complicated cases today...... when my turn come they kick me off...

i aurgue with that asian CW that you give allowance of 3 months to people who come from abroad and give ILR... he said yes its for people who come from out side UK...

SH1981 .... i can see you are here for fun.

as you are sincere with member so do advice people who have legal 9 years of stay in UK to apply by post so that they can wait 6 months more. or may be 7 - 10 months

I don't have time to wait as i believe i had strong case than your fellow members who came with 90 days allowance and 28 day rule apply to them and ILR approved.

Well, Ryan (I believe this is not your real name)?
It strikes me that they actually considered your case at all. Frankly speaking your command of English is appalling and doesn't merit a short term stay under the tourist visa (let alone ILR) from my perspective. I'd like to offer you my support but most of your writings are incoherent ramblings that hardly make any sense so it must be really difficult for anyone to sympathize with you. I suggest you direct your anger/energy into something constructive by taking a good hard look at yourself first instead of spouting off nonsense and blaming everyone else for your own failures. Try it and you may sense a relief. It may be the beginning of something new you never know.

thanks for the comments you give me. I think you are pulling my leg. I'm not here to prove you or anyone that my English is good or not. I wrote all this so that anyone in my situation can benefit from that.

to tell you I never completed any English course IELTS, ESOL all that. Every where including student Visa / HSMP / tier 1 , english requirement was exempted and English GUY after taking my interview back home he gave me unconditional offer letter at spot.

by the way what support can you provide me ? write here for other members may need your support.

I don't think so i need support any more.
Thanks Again.
good luck

My Experience on 12th March at PEO Croydon

Post by hsmp2ilrapp » Thu Mar 14, 2013 1:27 pm

Same happened with my case on 12th March at PEO Croydon.
Appointment Time: 9:40 AM
Reached HO at 9:00 AM

It was fine up-to our biometrics done at 11:15 AM
Caseworker called us at 12:05 PM for ILR application - after 10 minutes of initial assessment she looks happy and ask us to wait until she finishes the process.

At 1:02 PM she called us back to confirm that, she nearly done our case but there is an issue as they are experiencing delays in their Biometric background checks with National Database and the process might take up to 3 hours to complete. She told us to come back at 2:30 PM.

When we went back to caseworker at 2:30 PM - same story and again we were told to wait as the background Police checks systems failure has occurred and they are trying to restore the service and after that she can confirm what will my application outcome.

At 5:30 PM after 5 hours of long wait - finally they announced the system is still not restored and in some cases they might ask applicants to process their biometric again. It was a shocker and we were completely down after 5 hours of continuous wait.

In short they have now retained my application & passports and told us to wait for their return call which will be within 2 days - today is the 2nd day and we are not sure when Croydon PEO caseworkers process my application.

I have seen many people going back empty handed after they paid for this shit premium PEO service - Croydon PEO is worse and caseworkers don't bother about applicants - waiting area is not confortable at all.
Only 1 Biometric Desks opened out of 4 at a time - very slow process.

My lawer told to me about Croydon PEO as caseworkers are too lazy to process any applications - there was total 243 PEO appointments on 13th March at Croydon PEO and I can only 2/3 desks opens at a time to process 243 applicants. Its very busy out there - we paid a lot of money for visa application and in return they don't bother.

Still waiting for my decision... Share your experience please.
thanks

ditto experience on 12th march at Liverpool PEO. Not worth paying PEO what they call same day service, my case is as straightforward as it can be:
- No convictions
- same employer, bank accounts for last 5 years.
- HSMP + Ext 1 documents provided

Not sure if there would be any simpler cases than this one, but problem was with verification checks with national biometric database I guess. So it's not a prob at PEO but thr system! Its appalling to know that without being given an advance notice they keep your passports, documents with them without providing a decision.
living with it..hope to receive docs in a day or two.
I have my ILR since march 2013, previously based on HSMP+Tier1 ext. All views are my own, am not a professional on immigration matters.

'I didnt deserve this result or lack of it today but I'm surprised that most of the success stories are not reflecting the horrific reality I've experienced today.'

you are right..... people here just told their straight forward application stories.... they wont tell every thing

like i tell you i have been interviewed 1 hour with 2 case workers on my application and suprisingly both were dumb .....

i did had a interview like i'm a culprit ..... they were asking questions as they were police officers .... infront of my wife and i was feeling so embarrassed ....
if some budy had told me that this can happen i was prepared for that.. but here.......people don't help in that sense.... i remember there was similar case like mine and she went to solihull and got approved....

you easily accept and believe if member said their application is successsful etc ....

well new case worker ..... she told me I'm new and its my first day and they guy indian/pakistani will guide her ..... he keeps on making her laugh and she was not serving US and keep on saying... sorry sorry ....

i was served after 1 hour of my appointment you know why ?? because they made announcement that sorry there is a delay ... cause we have complicated cases today...... when my turn come they kick me off...

i aurgue with that asian CW that you give allowance of 3 months to people who come from abroad and give ILR... he said yes its for people who come from out side UK...

tell me i'm stupid / idiot that from last 8 years i'm paying TAX + tution fees ????? and easily a family of 5 people come to UK 80th day and get ILR esily....

so they are here for 4 years 8 months.... and got ILR>...

i'm stupid i'm rubbing my a** and giving them tax ......

yes people here are lier......

see all these post.... how come solihull can give ILR on 800 days and they didnt give ME .... 310 days only.........ALL paid holiday and business trips

all of my 5 years on HSMP i'm earning.... paying tax every month ....

i showed this to case worker... bloddy said i can show you more than that.....

i asked him... u give allowance of 6 months in a stretch for 10 year long residence applicants.... why you don't consider my application ... again he bark its for 10 years ....

the answer of your question is..... i give whole bundle to cw
and 3rd page was absence sheet... she stopped when she turn page 3 AS SHE HAVE CAUGHT ME THAT >90 DAYS ABSENCE I WAS SLEEPING WITH HER FAMILY .......

then they both went to their DAD inside to ask that weather they can give ILR on this case.....

she didnt check any other documents and after arguing with CW she return my documents like she have release her tension ..... like... plz take your file and GO .....

why i'm upset... i pay 10 grand for my masters degree in UK.....
people who are on HSMP they come don't study, get 90 days allowance and get ILR along wife + 2 dependants.

me pay tution fees, pay taxes on business, pay income tax from first day of having HSMP and cry like any thing.... + pay premium fees and get refusal after 5 months of case hold at PEO .....

put yourself in other shoes to realize.... one more thing to add... i took 2 days off as well .. for this peo appointment. on the top i did photo copy worth of 25 pounds + petrol ....

what i get in the end ????????
It may be the beginning of something new you never know.
took the words right out of my mouth!

thanks for the comments you give me.

Thanks Again.
good luck
i wish i had an 'english guy' like that, i had to give my LIUK test :P

Share your experience please.
thanks
exactly why i say go for postal application. i mean i dont understand why someone would want ILR so quick anyway. does it matter?

while your visa is processed your status continues!

if passport is a problem for job etc, use documenent identification checking service by post office! it serves the purpose as certified true copy.

if travelling abroad is a problem use temporary passport from your embassy, or better yet dont travel for a while.
i mean whats the 'rush' due to which somoene would want to go get the application done in one day

I want some to share their experiences not to comment what should people do or what not to do, its a personal choice for everyone either going for PEO or send postal application - As per circumstances people decide what will be best for them, so please be serious and don't waste your and our time by putting irrelevant comments.
Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your Horror story. What is the latest on your ILR appointment. Don't take notice of people who want to make fun out of other people's misfortunes.
