Best and the cheap travel insurance to visit Switzerland

Hi,

Me and family are planning to visit Switzerland for 5 days. We are travelling from UK. We want to buy a travel insurance for the family which is the best and at the same time not costly. Please suggest the same

There are so many to choose from. I looked at www.Moneysupermarket.com and used Insure and Go in the end as I found them the most cost effective and cheapest?

However many insurance companies require us to be a resident of UK for a minimum period of 6 to 12 months . However we are staying in UK only for 2 months. I enquired even with InsureandGo and they also cannot give for the above reason.

Please suggest the insurance company details who can give insurance for temporary UK residents.

You're probably better off getting travel insurance from your home country if you are not resident in the UK. Did you not get travel insurance for your trip to the UK? If so then it might cover you for Switzerland.
