Passport Application for Children or Spouse Visa Application

HI I need to apply for New passports of my Children (After MN1 certificate) and Wife's Visa from abroad.
My Questions are
Which application should I send First ie application for children's passport or wife's spouse Visa ?
Because If I send children's passport application it will take around 6 Months to get their passports and the Spouse Visa atm takes around 3 or 4 Months.
or should I send Both applications together ?

Where do they apply from?

British passport application don't take so long (in most countries).

Nothing stops them from making the application in parallel. For the children passport applications, the parents immigration status is not relevant (as they have a Certificate of Registration).

They will apply from Pakistan and it says on UKBA website that it will take minimum 6 Months to process. I belive passport will be processed in the UK and spouse Visa will be issued from UK embassy from there.
So If we get the Spouse Visa before the passports as she need to enter the UK within 90 days and if we dont get children's Passports within 90 days , then dont you think it will create other issues ie (re-apply)
