1st Tier1 Extn for 2yrs instead of 3yrs: Is it PEO Mistake?

Post by arvinds210 » Fri Mar 29, 2013 12:29 am

Hi All

I got my initial Tier 1 General in April 2011 ( applied in March 2011), valid for 2 years.

Then on 26/03/2013 I had PEO appointment at Solihull for my first extension. They approved my application and today on 28 /03/2013 I received my Biometric card .But it is for further 2 years instead of 3 years. I believe that as per the rules , they should have extended it for 3 years.

So I suspect that the CW made a mistake in this case . Am I right ?

If it is so , how can I get it rectified ?

Please advise

Many thanks

Hi arvinds210 ,

yes i asked my friend and he said his brother wrote a letter and send his BRP to the address which you have in your approval letter which said if anything wrong in your BRP then let us know.

and his issue was sorted in few days.

but make sure you take several copies of your visas before sending the actual card
also give a ring the UKBA and confirm if you can request them

Thanks,
koolyaar
