Any timescales for in-country applicants

Post by MWazir » Thu Sep 02, 2004 2:13 pm

Dear all,

Needed some clarifications.

I was reading the HSMP guidlines and it says that in-country applicants are supposed to mail their applications at a different address that those who are applying from overseas.

Does this mean that there are two seperate teams of case workers allocated to in-country and overseas applicants respectively? Or does the processing of HSMP applications go to a common queue.

I know the backlog for HSMP is 5 months. If there is a different queue for in-country applicants, any idea how long this is?

Regards,
Mujahid
