Number of people attending: 1

Post by ragsncl » Tue Apr 09, 2013 1:22 pm

Hi, I have booked a PEO appointment for my wife FLR(M) application.

It says Number of people attending: 1 - will I not be able to go with her? Please advise as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Raghu.

Are you sure FLR(M) is correct if you are on Tier 1?? Should she not apply on Set(O)??
This page explains how to apply for permission to remain in the UK as the partner of a British citizen or a person who is present and settled here, if you are already in the UK in a different immigration category. You must apply using application form FLR(M).

Do you have Tier 1 or ILR??

If you have ILR and your wife is applying for FLR(M), then you need to attend with her. The number of people attending is correct in saying 1 as it is only your wife applying and not you but you are expected to attend or if you cannot attend, write a letter detailing why you cannot attend.

CR001 - thank you for your reply. I would like to go with her, but on the page it says that "Number of people attending: 1" - This is why I got confused. If I can attend then no problem. Please advise.

Yes you can attend with her as the appointment detail/confirmation is only relevant to the person who is submitting an application for leave to remain.
