ILR time requirement for Dependant

Post by Naj » Mon Apr 15, 2013 11:59 pm

Hi,

My wife got her visa in May 2011 and entered UK on 15 Nov 2011 as a dependant of tier 1.
I will be applying for my ILR in Jul 2013 by which time she would be 3.5 months short of the 2 year time requirement.
Question is does it need to be atleast 2 years or there can be some flexibility/ lineancy as it doesnt make sense to apply again to cover 3.5 months.

Does anyone have any similar experiences? Thanks.

At least two years is required for ILR.

Thanks Vinny. What's the best way to apply? Can I apply together in a single application through PEO or should I get my ILR first and then apply for her extension? How should I apply I.e. FLR or dependant of PBS extension?
Thanks in advance!
