Alan shatter in trouble

Guys,


Alan Shatter is facing a lot of political issues recently...I red somewhere that the government might consider moving him to a different department...What do you think about this? do you fear if he moves the immigration policy will change? it might return back to the slow days? how do you feel about that...

@NewIrish. You seem to be very negative. A half glass empty kinda person. What if he moves and things get even better? By the way I haven't heard about this rumour. Alan Shatter isnt going anywhere!

It might be true?

That explains the significant slowdown of processing time compare 2012.
There is something strong going on under the surface.
Until now only1 citizenship ceremony takes place!

1 citizenship ceremony that took place has nothing to do with Alan Shatter being in trouble. The state need money and they get that from citizenship applicants.

Yes Alan Shatter is battling with the lazy Gardai at the moment, but I don't think it has anything to do with Citizenship ceremonies since Alan Shatter don't even have to be there like he wasn't there the last time.

IntegratedMigrant is correct. Need to wait for little more time as the last ceremony was held on march 11 which was last month only. And as the next ceremony is not announced it doesn't mean that Alan shatter is in trouble.

The slowmotion of the ceremony has got nothing to do with Alan Shatter but the candidates that are finding it difficult to pay the money, lots of people are struggling to pay and they need some specific numbers of target before ceremony can be hold. They aint gonna do ceremony for 10 or 100 people that has paid?

Its actually the first time that someone mentioned Money as an issue to ceremony, interesting.

I know people are struggling with money at the moment especially the Immigrants!, but dont you think that people will go to the end of the world just to pay the 950euro? I mean most people's lives depends of the Irish Citizenship and they could do anything to pay it up, and in time.

they need to pay the 950 ... I don't think that INIS offer any other option

I think the number of applications is not as before so there are no enough application for monthly ceremony

I think INIS should reconsider the ceremony thing and make it smaller
