Hi, HSMP gurus and all !
I plan to apply as an independent contractor.
In my country the Tax Administration can issue the official confirmation document about my income (and tax paid )only for the period prior to last quarter of current year (3 months) and it takes them up to 10 days to prepare this document.
Say, I can and will ask the tax people today (2 April) to prepare the document to prove my income for January-December of year 2006. To make all the checks and issue this document it will take them up to 10 business days (or 14 calendar days?), so I would only get this paper in a couple weeks. This is the most recent tax information that could be submitted.
My question is my claiming points for Past Earnings would still comply with the rule of 12 months out of last 15 months?
Because after I get this paper and immediately send all the documents to Home Office, by the time Home Office receives them, it would be the total period of 15 mths and 2-3 weeks or even up to 16 mths out of which my income for year 2006 is shown.
Even if caseworker considers my income not for the whole period I claim, but, for example, only for February 2006 - February 2007, it is enough amount for me to get the maximum points.
However my concern is about the FORMAL rule of 12 mths out of 15 months prior to my application, because i cannot get the more recent papers in shorter terms.
Please, share your thoughts.
Thanks all
