my partner visa got rejected

me and my partner both applied for the visa at the same time. we were called for interview on 2nd april, yesterday my partner's visa was rejected because his designation was not properly notified. In the application his designation was customer support and in business plan it was IT Technician, he was given the right to appeal. can we appeal against this? my visa result was unknown. Any one please advice me. urgent..........Thank you.

If you have a right of appeal, obviously you may appeal. Was that the extent of the question? Otherwise, whether or not an appeal has any merit or is something worthwhile can't be determined from the very little information you have provided. Talk to an immigration advisor for a detailed perspective.

The Refusal letter says " you have stated in your application that you are customer service manager yet your advertisement states you are technical support furthermore the business plan you supplied at interview states that you are IT technician.

As a result the above you have not demonstrated that you meet the requirements of the rules to be awarded points

If you last had leave as a tier 1 (post study) migrant and are applying using funds of £50,000, you must demonstrate the above in order for you to be awarded points for available funds of £50,000. As you do not meet the requirements, you are not eligible to apply using the funds of 50,000. Therefore, for points to be awarded, you are required to show funds of £200,000 are available for you to invest in the Uk."

This what the letter says. Actually we applied the visa on August 12th of 2012 and we called for interview on April 2nd 2013. My visa was unknown, i don't know whether i will get it or no..my psw visa expires on august 2013..please need advice. Thank you....

Were you asked to submit business plan , as it is not required as long as you tell in interview. If you still got valid visa and they raise any objection u wont get right of appeal. But it is not necessary that they would refuse u as well.

Hi. Today my visa got rejected because my designation was marketing manager, it doesnot come under this visa. My visa expires on August so I don't have the right of appeal. I don't no what to do now. Plz need advice......

As long as i remember Marketing manager in old SOC codes was NQF 6 LEVEL. They have removed this job title in new list in april 2013. but as you applied before it should not affect you?...

Surprise ... would you mind telling us what was the nature of ur business??? and wht SOC CODES you used while completing application form.

Previous SOC CODE: 1132 NQF 6 and NEW SOC CODE: 3543 NQF 4 (Marketing Manager/ Consultant should be fine as per these codes so I don't understand why you got refused because of that)

plz correct if I am wrong

NEW(BROKEN IN TWO job titles)
1132 Marketing and sales directors

3545 Sales accounts and business development managers

NO CHANGE

3543 Marketing associate professionals

Could you explain your refusal reason in more detail to us(nature of your business and did you attach contract in application)? As i think you might write letter to case worker to review your case assuming you do not have right of appeal at the moment.
