ICT -switch over of employee allowed?

Hi,

I am with an employee in ICT (tier2) since Dec17 2009 in UK.Recently I got my visa extended till june 2014 which will complete 4.5 years of my stay by then.


In spite of my request to extend my current visa for 2 years they purposely extended only upto 1.5 years until June 2014 leaving me 6 months falling short for 5 years continuous stay.


Is there any possibility by which i can switch over to different employee who can sponsor and take over this ICT and extend me more than 5 years?

If so do I need to go back to India to file it again...

Please guide.

I want to file for ILR by next year end if everything goes good.

you can switch to Tier 2 General in the UK, and be eligible for ILR after 5 years continuous stay, if you find another job with a new sponsor.

There are various requirements that will have to be satisfied as regards skill level, min. salary, etc.

Also any website or help on the job sponsors or job serach engines you know off please?
