Hey JD1986, congrats on the approval. Wanted to ask if you've received the BRP? I got my letter & docs on Feb 16 but not got my BRP yet. Just getting a little anxious. :(

ILR November 2012 application

Post by Rotweiller » Tue Feb 26, 2013 7:20 pm

Hi Guyz

I've been reading a lot of posts and congratulations to those who were
Successful! Congratulations! For those who like me are still waiting, what the hell is going on with the UK Home Office? This is becoming so stressful! I need to go home and can't do anything! Also had enough with my employer and can't wait to resign!
Been in the Uk:5 years
Applied for ILR: 6 November 2012( not sure Set(0) / SET(M)- done by immigration consultants)
Fee debited few days later
Received letter of receipt end around middle of November
Life in the Uk Test: 17th December 2012
Biometric invitation 28th December 2012
Biometrics completed 7th January 2013

"I am still waiting..........,........................"

I've noticed some of you were approved approximately 2 months from doing the Biometrics! I am looking at this cause its at least giving me a little hope that mine could be here anytime now? What takes them so long? My whole life has been put on hold! I even lost out on a really well paid job and can't change employers until I am approved thus allowing to resign from my present employer!

Received an email from solicitor 28 February 2013, UKBA letter dated 24th February 2013 asking for 1 salary advice and a bank statement showing my salary going in before they can make a decision!
Salary advice and bank statements posted to solicitor this morning, 1 March 2013. Will reach solicitor on 4 th Monday.

How long more! This is killing me waiting!

How bloody random can they be? They've had my application since November and only now noticed that September salary Advice and bank statement was missing. How long more can they be disrupting our lives like this!

Rottweiller, be patient only a couple more weeks. At least case is with case worker. So if docs get to them next week a decision will be made by the end of week and you receive your papers the following week. Dont loose hope.

I am so thankful for this site for keeping me sane. Reading other people's timelines gave me hope. I would love to share my timeline as follows:
Nov 2012
Set O - 5 year work permit
Date applied: 15/11/2012 posted nxt day delivery arrived 16/11/2012
Paid via debit card and payment taken on 19/11/2012
Letter of payment & acknowledgement received 21/11/12 dated 19/11/12
Biometric letter received 10/01/2013 dated 07/01/2013
Biometrics undertaken on 11/01/2013
BRP - received am 27/02/2013 dated 24/02/2013, other documents arrived the same time. I can finally travel, I am so happy finally no restrictions.
A total of 14weeks 4 days. Three months two weeks.

Good Luck to everyone waiting.

ILR-November application-SET(O)- 5 yr work permit

Post by Rotweiller » Sat Mar 02, 2013 12:09 pm

Congratulations Nana112! I'm very happy for you!
I notice that your letter was dated 24/02/13. My letter for missing Salary Advice and Bank Statement for October was also dated 24/02/13. I suppose my application could have been approved like yours if only there were no missing documents. I am praying that mine comes soon! I don't know how long I can keep myself from going insane!

Thank you again Nana112 for giving me hope! And Congratulations!
