in my opinion, there is too many confusing documents in that list,as EUsmileWEallsmile mentioned in his previous message and explained, don't give the entry clearance officer the opportunity to refuse your family permit as it could give him a reason just refuse..what u should submit if u must is the passports, marriage certificate,a letter from the eu citizen explaining exercising her treaty rights as a worker and that you will be traveling together or u joining her, proofs she is working and that she is a qualified person,so the payslips are good, the contract as well, the bank statement and also u can send some pictures from when u started the relationship, wedding photos and so on to prove the relationship , sending documents that your wife is also a student might confuse the ECO.eng.kamo wrote:Ok guys I just submitted my online EEA family permit application & I've a VAC single person appointment in " World bridge " on the 8th of May to submit the below mentioned documents.

as wiggsy mentioned in his reply,if u supply the student documents they would ignore the work documents and still refuse u on the basis that she need private health insurance(its needed for eu citizen when they are in the country as students) and once you are in the uk you are obliged to have the same cover for yourself and any other dependent u may have in your household..eng.kamo wrote:My wife is currently distant learning student mate .. What kind of insurance are u referring to ... she has a national insurance number is that it ?
Thanks for your answers everyone
eng.kamo wrote:Dear forum,
This will be a different question I guess, but I can definitely use the help of the experts here I'll state my case then ask my questions if you will.
The Case:
I applied for a general visit visa to the UK ( 5 & 1/2 ) months ago and it was refused, my now wife who used to be my girlfriend back then has been living & working in UK for the past 2 years back at that time when I applied we had some issues over where we should settle when we get married and it was tough times we barely talked to each other back then as we are both stubborn she didn't want to leave UK while I didn’t want to leave my home country Egypt , so I thought to visit UK to see my chances with living over there but due to our issues back then when I was filling my visa application I answered the following question with a " NO "
"Do you have any family or friends inside UK?"
I had a mindset at the time that this question is basically regarding whether if I am going to stay with anyone when I arrive to UK which I wasn’t going to do.
Anyways my visa was refused due to insufficient financial evidence as I was a newbie back then and didn't include a proof of my father's employment. I had my time checking online about the possibilities of completing my studies in the UK as I am really close from getting my degree in Engineering here & I didn't want to lose that if I would have moved and dumped my studies. Eventually me and my wife agreed on getting married and moving to live with her over there and I will be working and studying in the same time.
We are about to submit an application for an EEA family permit now after we got married and we have gathered all the information needed and the evidence that can support our application , we have been in a relation for over 8 years now so we have plenty of evidence to prove that it's a genuine relation THANKS TO GOD
The Questions:
1. Given that I didn't mention that I know someone in UK when I applied for the general visit, by any chance is that going to be considered fraud or withholding information whenever the ECO will be reviewing my EEA family permit application ?
2. Given that my visa was refused and in a matter of few months I am applying for a family permit, is that going to affect my chances in anyway?
3. Should we mention in both our cover letters that thing mentioned above or it might backfire ?
I really appreciate the help you guys are giving over here & Thanks in advance

Jambo wrote:I have a different view. Your actions in the past might cause the ECO to suspect marriage of convenience.
eng.kamo wrote:I was thinking the same way Jambo, It's a very durable relation 8 years of age just with the typical ups and down in any other relation if u will.
When i applied i did all the application without any help especially from her since we didn't talk much back then due to the arguments over where we should settle
what do u suggest ??
