Maintenance Funds -any help would be appreciated

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post on the forum and your help would be appreciated.

I need to apply for Tier1 extension in one months time and by mistake i have kept my maintenance funds in my sole trader business account ( i know I have made a silly mistake - i wasnt aware that the HO is very strict on this issue).

i have read a few threads and i am aware that the HO wouldnt accept this.

As i havent got time left to maintain funds in my personal account and i dont have any other accounts,Fixed deposits in the UK or abroad with £900 maintained, i was wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to this problem?

Your comments would be much appreciated as you can imagine the amount of stress i am going through right now. i would like to know if previous cases have been accepted either by providing supporting documents on or appeal etc. Any help would be brilliant.

What is the name on the account? Is your name mentioned at all?

for sole traders, business account statement should be accepted, because sole trading is not legally separate entity from the individual.
Please make sure the account statement shows your name just below/above the business name....

thanks for the reply guys. on the first page of the statement it just shows my trading name but then on the last page which has my vat details its says myname t/a business.

if i highlight this on the statement would it be sufficient?
