Student visa work query

Hi,

I should have asked this question before. I have heard that in Tier 1 entr they ask question on experience and previous immigration history.

My brother went to interview today. During his student visa, he worked part time in Tesco. While working in an Accountancy practice as well on voluntary bases.

In old student visa rules there was 50:50 ratio between study and work where work is essential part of the course. He was studying ACCA where one must work 3 years to become ACCA member.

He has nearly 4 years of experience (of which 2 years are in PSW visa) in his field plus I am his mentor.

Does disclosing these details in the interview will ruin his application?
