My payslips coming every month and it shows as a salary but my wifes payslips coming every week. my question is when I write it weekly how am I gonna calculate it ? it is very confusing. is this calculating for a month or for a year?D4109125 wrote:To get monthly wage = weekly wage x 52 / 12 and provide wage slips and corresponding bank statements for 3 months
Age married in years is fine
6 letters dates are fine providing in joint names (or one each if not) and something like council tax, utility bills etc from 3 different sources
Other answers seem fine
The fact you're both working they're not going to pay too much attention to it under the old rules. Weekly wage x 52 / 12 should be fine.Emrah wrote:My payslips coming every month and it shows as a salary but my wifes payslips coming every week. my question is when I write it weekly how am I gonna calculate it ? it is very confusing. is this calculating for a month or for a year?D4109125 wrote:To get monthly wage = weekly wage x 52 / 12 and provide wage slips and corresponding bank statements for 3 months

That section for a month not for a year?D4109125 wrote:The fact you're both working they're not going to pay too much attention to it under the old rules. Multiplying by 52 and dividing by 12 makes the weekly figure a monthly one to be put with your other monthly income and then added to give the total income. Put your benefit income in the benefit boxes under partner.Emrah wrote:That section for a month not for a year?D4109125 wrote:The fact you're both working they're not going to pay too much attention to it under the old rules. So my calculating should be like thisD4109125 wrote: Multiplying by 52 and dividing by 12 makes the weekly figure a monthly one to be put with your other monthly income and then added to give the total income. Put your benefit income in the benefit boxes under partner.
For Child Benefit and Tax credits just write the monthly figure in the relevant boxes under partner and write pcm next to the figures and they will know it is per calendar month. Yes write it in partner working in the UK, I assuming she/he is. Change the monthly wage as it's only reprinting a page or two and make sure it is a Net figure - after tax and deductions. The final box on pg 21 should include the benefits and wages and the total monthly figure.Emrah wrote:So my calculating should be like thisD4109125 wrote: Multiplying by 52 and dividing by 12 makes the weekly figure a monthly one to be put with your other monthly income and then added to give the total income. My wife earns 112.50 in a week x 52 = 5850 / 12 = 487.50
should I write this amount across the Is your partner working in the UK?
I have written £450 for her earning should I change it?
Her child tax credit in a week is £61 x 52 = 3172 / 12 = 264
she get the child tax credit weekly on visa form should I write it weekly amount or monthly amount under her benefit box?

Yes on pg 21 and no for pg 20 as it asks for monthly so no need to put PCM.Emrah wrote:Income Source Interval received (weekly/monthly) AmountD4109125 wrote: For Child Benefit and Tax credits just write the monthly figure in the relevant boxes under partner and write pcm next to the figures and they will know it is per calendar month. My Salary Monthly £1010
My Wife Salary Monthly £487.50
Child Benefit Monthly £80
Child tax credit Monthly £264
Total Monthly £1841.50
so I should write them like this on page 21 am I write?
On page 20 for my wife earnings should I write PCM next to her earning?
so instead of £487.50 on page 20 I should write 112.50 x4 = £450 for my wife earning?D4109125 wrote:Yes on pg 21 and no for pg 20 as it asks for monthly so no need to put PCM.Emrah wrote:Income Source Interval received (weekly/monthly) AmountD4109125 wrote: For Child Benefit and Tax credits just write the monthly figure in the relevant boxes under partner and write pcm next to the figures and they will know it is per calendar month. There is not 4 weeks in a month so 487.50 is correct and yes on page 20 write the benefit income and put pcm next to it.Emrah wrote:so instead of £487.50 on page 20 I should write 112.50 x4 = £450 for my wife earning?D4109125 wrote:Yes on pg 21 and no for pg 20 as it asks for monthly so no need to put PCM.Emrah wrote:Income Source Interval received (weekly/monthly) AmountD4109125 wrote: For Child Benefit and Tax credits just write the monthly figure in the relevant boxes under partner and write pcm next to the figures and they will know it is per calendar month. If you have the extra money, i would do a peo application, your case should be straight forward, that means a same day decision and documents straight back.
Don't panic, there is absolutely nothing to panic about. You're a genuine applicant and you should have no problems whatsoever.Emrah wrote:I have got panic attack mate. I know but I cant control it unfortunately.D4109125 wrote: Don't panic, there is absolutely nothing to panic about. You're a genuine applicant and you should have no problems whatsoever.
You may get an emergency tax code when you start a new job or start getting benefits you must pay tax on.
I have been working for the company last 8 years part time for few years and full time last 4 years. When you might get an emergency tax code
You’ll be put on an emergency tax code if you’ve started:
a new job
working for an employer after being self employed
getting company benefits or the State Pension
While you’re on an emergency tax code, you pay tax on all your income above the basic Personal Allowance (£9,440 for the 2013 to 2014 tax year).
That's correct. You will not be able to contact them until Tuesday morning.Emrah wrote:I know but I cant control it unfortunately.D4109125 wrote: Don't panic, there is absolutely nothing to panic about. You're a genuine applicant and you should have no problems whatsoever.
I have got my payslip from my work yesterday. My tax code is changed from 810L to 944L.
That means Im on emergency tax code

Do you think they made a mistake or some rules changed? It is Saturday I cant phone them till Tuesday cos Monday is bank holiday. Im really worried about this now.
Hi Kevin. My wife just checked her payslips same thing happened for her too.Kevin24 wrote: That's correct. You will not be able to contact them until Tuesday morning.
It made me relax. Most people born after 5 April 1948 with 1 job have 944L as their tax code for the 2013 to 2014 tax year.
I am glad that you are relaxing now. When you post messages in a Panic Mood, you are going to make some members really stressed out.Emrah wrote:Hi Kevin.
