Passport renewal for child (On Tier 1 dependent)

Hello,

My child's Indian PP is getting expired .It had 5 year validity.
1)I understand that I need to renew her passport and need to do it via Indian high commission.
What is the process for that please?
2)What about Visa stamp?She has visa stamp on her current passport(Tier 1 dependent).Do we need to transfer the stamp to new passport?What is the process?Do we need to approach UKBA or HCI for that?
