Hi everyone
I have searched the forum and couldn't find answer to this questions. would really appreciate your help.
I switched from the IGS (Intl. Graduate Scheme) to work permit on 10-OCT-2008. (this took place while I was in the UK) I was granted 5 years Work Permit visa valid until 10-OCT-2013.
In May-2010, I changed job and switched to Tier 2 - General (employer sponsored visa) and I was granted a leave to remain valid from 21-May-2010 to 20-Jun-2013. (i.e. 3 years and 1 month)!
I need to do something about my visa now as it expires on 20-Jun-2013 and I'm 112 days short from meeting the 5 years requirement to apply for ILR.
My questions:
1. Do I need to apply for a normal Tier 2 extension?
2. if so, Do I get two years extension or is it going to be for 112 days to meet the ILR 5 years requirement?
3. And the £1,700 question, does that mean I need to pay the full fees now and further ILR application fees later this year?
I need to know this to answer question L2 on page 29 of Tier 2 Application form.
Thank you in advance for your help.
