You need to clarify. Do you plan to get married? If so, is it going to be in Germany or in Sweden? When is your boyfriend/fiance/husband starting his job in Sweden and does he have a letter of employment yet?

So, let me get this right. Your would-be husband might start work in less than a month and you think you would get married before that and that too in Denmark. You do live life on the edge, dont you?

This marriage in Denmark.. hopefully it will be recognised by the Danish Authorities as well?

We would like to move to Sweden, he has a job and I do not.
If you have a long term relationship, and you have a documentary trail to prove it, then under EU law you can move with your partner to Sweden. You do not need to be married. (See http://eumovement.wordpress.com/info-sweden/ for EU information from the Swedish immigration people).

You should be very intentional about collecting things that show you have had a substantial relationship and have lived together. Registration receipts from the Anmeldungamt. Bills in a shared name. Wohnung lease in shared name. Vacations taken together. Visits to family in the US and Holland. Photos.

I would not get a tourist visa, as you are no tourist. You are the partner of an EU citizen and should get settled (and used to white food) and then get a Residence Card. As partner of an EU citizen (who is exercising treaty rights) you also have the right to work.

If you want confirmation of your (already exisiting) rights, you can contact the Swedish embassy in Berlin, the Migrationsverket (they have an email address and phone number), and http://ec.europa.eu/citizensrights/

If you decide to get married, you may find it easiest and nicest to get married in Sweden after the chaos of moving is over.
