Can I switch from PSW to another category

Post by juz » Tue May 07, 2013 12:20 pm

Hello,
I am writing on behalf of my friend.
He is here on a Post study work visa which is expiring next year.

Is there any visa he can switch to?

Does he need to have a job to move to another visa category?

Will be require the company to sponsor him for any other type of visa?

Your advise would be very helpful.

Thanks

To switch to Tier 1 does he need to have a job?

He cannot switch into Tier 1 General, Tier 1 General has closed to all new applicants including those on Tier 1 Post-Study.

Tier 1 Investor and Entrepreneur are available.

He is able to switch into Tier 2 for which he will need a job and sponsor. Or switch into Tier 4 Student.
