Dependants

Post by annazuhlke » Fri Apr 13, 2007 6:47 pm

Hi,

My husband and I are both eligible for the HSMP Programme but I am able to claim some extra points because of my age. So he will be my dependant in the application.

Is there anyone in the same situation? I am looking forward to know what type of documents shall I present for my husband (dependant), such as education and past earnings.

Besides I don't know if he needs an IELTS certificate.

Thanks in advance!

Anna

You do not need to send in any details about your husband in the stage one of the process.

when you apply for EC or FLR, thats when you send in the details about the dependents

Hi,

Thanks for the answer.

What Ive heard is that I can claim for more points because my husband is highly qualified... is that true? If it is, what documents I need to prove that?

Does he needs to take the IELTS test as well? (even if its not necessary in the first stage).

Thanks again,
Anna

Thank you very much Bulldozer and Vidya!

So... I understand my husband will have the same visa as me (HSMP, if they approve my request), right?

I still don't know if we have both to apply for HSMP or just one of us is enough.

Do I have to provide my wedding document in the first stage, or I really don't have to show any document about my husband in the first stage?

I understand when I apply for EC, then I will provide informations about him.

Thanks
Anna
