Anyone used Banker's Draft for ILR PEO

Post by pegakrishna » Wed May 15, 2013 1:40 pm

Hi,

I just booked ILR PEO appointment by paying £100 and I'm planning to take Banker's Draft to pay the visa fee

I need to take £1326 banker's draft since I have paid £100 already. Is my understanding is correct ?

As per SET (O) form, Banker's draft is payable to "Home office" . please advise.

I paid by bankers draft and it was fine. You are right. Pay to Home Office. They should get payment the same day as the cheque is guaranteed by your bank.

Please trying using your Card(Debit or Credit) to pay through PEO service.
I have read on this forum by few people who were turned back ,using this type of mode of payment. I can not actually remember the PEO office involved.

For peace of mind, I suggest you use your card for payment.

BEST OF LUCK

I forgot to mention that not all peo offices accept bankers drafts. I used croydon and they accept them. Have a look on the ukba website. There is info on there about each peo office and what they accept.

Thank you. I will be using the same in Croydon as well.

Can you answer this - I need to take £1326 banker's draft since I have paid £100 already. Is my understanding is correct ?

My appointment was booked before the fee thing came into force and so I took a banker's draft for the full amount. I would imagine you are correct in deducting 100 from the full fee.
