Settlement Visa - Sheffield: Is it the new system?

Post by sonyasking » Sat May 18, 2013 7:54 pm

Hi

My ILR appeal case is recently allowed (hearing at Feltham).

While phoning to UKBA, I been advised that my application is forwarded to Sheffield for settlement visa - I wonder if is it the new system? Otherwise, I forwarded my ILR application to Durham, is it not the Durham should normally handle this application?

I would appreciate your advice on this.

Thanks

Sony

The UKBA Sheffield Office must be handling your Case. UKBA have another Office in Liverpool too. Like PEOs there must be different Offices handling different Cases. Good Luck. with your Appeal. Keep us posted once you hear from Sheffield.

Hi Guru

Many thanks for your response.

Ok, but is it usually happens, handling specific cases by specific offices? But when reading some of the posts here, for expediting the process, it may be necessary to write to the officer from where we get the refusal letter, in this case it may be Durham?

Thanks

Hi! Sony, You got your original refusal letter from Durham. That's where you sent your original ILR application. Since the Sheffield Office is handling your case ( according to UKBA), you will get your future correspondence from them, now on.
