Tier 2 Urgent

Post by AliZ » Tue May 21, 2013 10:07 am

Dear Members

My employer is in the processes of assigning COS for my Tier 2 (G) extension, I was first granted work permit for 18 months in Jan 2009, then the new Tier 2 rules came in place and I got 3 years extension in July 2010, further more my company was de-merged in Mar 2012 and my visa was than transferred to new sponsor under TUPE arrangements, therefore, I may not be able to extend my visa using T2 (W).
I'm confused about whether to extend for 2 years or 3 years, please anyone can clear this point.

Many Thanks

Possibly three years but not sure based on the following findings;

As per Case worker guidance Page 7

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary

Tier 2 - skilled workers

Limiting the total amount of temporary leave that may be granted to a Tier 2 migrant to 6 years (which applies to those who entered after 6 April 2011)

Any comments...
