Congratulations. Disppointed I was not invited for your Mini Party. Many thanks for your kind words. Happy that you were granted your ILR.kumarilr13 wrote:Hi All,
I am happy to let you know guys, that My ILR has got approved.
Here is the detail story, its a pleasure to write it.
Before i jump into my ILR application story, i have to tell you, its been a very long Journey from 2004. I first enter UK on student visa in 2004 (i am 19yr old then) Did my M.Sc at Scotland. Got 2year Fresh talent Visa, soo luck to get a job soon after M.Sc, worked 2 yrs in Scotland. Then moved to London, My college applied for WP and it has got rejected and have to leave the county. Same college, i have to be thankful to by boss for keeping the Job open for me for 6 months, applied for new WP while i am in India and that was successful. EC date June2008 enter UK July 2008.
Since then, I am working for the same college. Applied ILR yesterday and that was successful too.
Here is the PEO experience:
1pm appointment at Solihull. Entered PEO at 12:30 but they didnt let me in. Asked me to come back 20min after. Sharp 1pm they let me in with security checks and they dropped a bomb saying today there are may technical issues, we dont know when you will be called. Waited there for 2hrs just watching people around me (most of them look nervous).
Finally at 3pm CW called me and she said big sorry for the delay. very nice middle age British woman.Very quickly took my application, payment, asked for life in UK result, original WP, 3 months payslips, 3 months bank statement, Employer letter with SOC code, we choose 3111 which is in NQF leve 3 . She said big NO for 5yr P60, my employer letter stating my annual leave (80 days altogether) and also big NO for any photo copies (i photo copied every thing) but she said NO need.
3:30 Biometrics, by 3:45 all the office was empty. I am the last one for the day. (there were 2 tickets after me, i don't know whats wrong they were sent out after seeing CW )
Finally at 4pm they handed over all the original documents (not may ) and said your ILR application is approved and you get your card in 7 days.
Rushed back to London and to my home and had a mini party last night with my friends.
I should say Big thanks to all people in this forum for their advice, support, information and also for sharing their personal experiences. My personal thanks to KEVIN24 (the Guru) for his enormous amount of advice, support and information.

It is always advisable to carry what ever documents you have. In my case that is what i did, i didn't gave here the above the listed documents. She asked me one by one and finally said go for Biometrics, at that point i mentioned her i have few additional documents if you wish to take them, she said No need you are fine. (May that depends on CW too)Kevin24 wrote:Big NO to 5 year P 60s and Employer Leave letter. What was the thinking by trying to give documents CW not asked for. Did you feel that by giving those documents your case would become stronger? Please let me know. When I went to My PEO appointment I had all the documents CW would ask for. But gave only what she really asked for. ILR approved in 30 minutes with very few documents given.
Agreed. No worries.CW only asked for few documents from me. After 1/2 hour she said that she was happy to approve MY ILR. After that I did not offer any documents, inspite of me having all the documents in 3 files. What's the pont!!!kumarilr13 wrote:It is always advisable to carry what ever documents you have.
