It's a fresh application, in Uk Since 2001(overstayers) that's the only crime
Rest is all straight forward ....

This may tell them how disappointed you are and need an answer from them.
Is it advisable to take UKBA to court if they don't respond within 20 working days about ur complain for an update on your application u made over a year?
It is difficult but some members have mentioned that in their complaint and got some response.

One of the member complaint to Ombudsman and got his application fast tracked. You will have to ask your MP to forward your complain to Ombudsman.

Please note that this may create some discomfort with the case worker dealing with your application so please seek LEGAL advise.

Look at the bottom of the page and you can claim compensation if you can prove that you suffered financial loss.

Please seek legal advise.

Hi guys, is it a must for my MP to complete the Complaint form and send to the Parliamentary Ombudsman?

Can't i complete the form myself and send to the Ombudsman?

There's a section on the form that the mp has to sign and then he sends it to the ombudsman...

OK thanks. But what is the effect of making complain to the Ombudsman through MP?

Hey folks,

Thanks again, yea the stress all gone still cant believe that all this has come to an end :-) Anyway i got my passport and my daughters BC back.

Qn. Is the UKBA going to send me a letter stating what leave or route i am on. It was not written on the letter that came with the BRP card. The letter states, its proof of my right to stay, work or study. If so how long does it take to come through.

Why don't you try using SAR all you have to do is pay them £10. They might come across your application while they are at it and hand it over to a case worker. No one ever knows why UKBA  do what they do except to torment our minds. :x

Hi everyone

I got a letter from the Home Office today requesting my daughter's and partner's ORIGINAL passports and our daughter's ORIGINAL FULL birth certificate!
I am so angry at my solicitor, he told he that copies were fine and I remember asking him if he was sure as I read that they want ORIGINAL documents and NOT copies! Well, anyway, after having a very stressful morning I have sent both passports and birth certificate using next day recorded secure delivery to my solicitor. The HO wants the documents by June 14 to be able to make a decision. Should I be worried? :(

Thought I'd share this to avoid other people making the same mistake.

Happy Week to all x

I think it's with a Case worker hence the request for further information as the letter states they are ''trying to make a prompt decision'' (their words) on my application

I'm thinking of writing to the person who signed the letter in 2 weeks time, which will make a month since I replied...

My friend send copies of her daughter and partner and they did accept the copies and she was granted so i think its probably down to the case worker.
