Hi,
I would be grateful if someone could help me. I am about to apply for spouse visa for my wife but the categories are just confusing me. I plan to use my employment income plus savings to meet the financial requirement. I know for cash savings I need to select category D.
Where I am confused is which category to select from A and B - salaried or non- salaried.
I get paid at an hourly rate and am contracted for 16 hours but I always get overtime and get paid monthly. I normally end up working on 24 hours a week on average so my monthly income is at least 50% more then I would get if I only did my contracted hours. Over the last 6 months my salary has been £750 per month (my p60 for last year shows an income of £9000, an average of 750 per month as well) So will this come in salaried or non salaried income.
I know I need to show 18600, the rest I am meeting with our savings of £42000.
Also I now have had another permanent part time job for the past three months where if I include both incomes I meet the salary requirements with my salary alone but I believe I cant use my second job as I have not been there for our 6 months.
Could someone please tell me which categories to select as its just confusing. I have fulfilled all my requirements so don't want to mess my application by selecting the wrong category.
Kind regards,
Raja
