Breaks between Tier 2 visa jobs, no payslips, bad debts- ILR

Post by shuttlespy » Mon Jun 17, 2013 11:38 am

Hello

Thanks for the last reply, it settled me a lot. My case is a bit complex one, hope to get an advise from your expertise:

I was on Work Permit from Jul’07 – May’11 with company A, unfortunately company A went into administration. I got a job with Company B on Tier 2 Visa and applied for the visa in August’11 and received the visa in October’11. So technically I was without work between June’11 – September’11

I worked for company B till August 2012 and joined company C on Tier 2, again Tier 2 was applied in first week of October’12 and I received the visa on 30 Nov’12 however was on the payroll of Company C from January’2013 onwards. So once again technically I was without work between September’12 – December’12.

Now, as I have completed more than 5 years on combination of Work Permit and Tier 2 General, I plan to apply for ILR in August’13 however I only have last six months payslips + last 5 years P60’s and bank statements for last one year.

On bank statements apart from my wages there are other income as well which I receive working additionally as a free lancer (only from Aug’12 – Dec’12)

Please advise if it is wise and ok to go ahead with my ILR application (will be going for a same day service). (Just to let you know one last thing, I had a credit card debt which I didn’t cleared and asked for a repayment plan to pay them in monthly small amounts back in Aug 2008, but then I stopped paying, will this affect my case?)

I shall be very grateful if my query is answered.

Regards

Wiqar
