ILR for dependant and absenses

Post by sharbt_hvr » Sun Jun 16, 2013 2:26 pm

Hi ,
My spouse is eligible on July 23rd as she completes 2 years in UK as Tier1 dependant after her first entry .But she was out of UK for more than 2 months to her home country and some days (close to 10) in europe in this period. Does this matter since I am planning to apply for both in month of Aug for both.

rgds,

Thanks Vinny,
We have proved our dependent status through Marriage Certificate etc during Tier1 dependant initial application. I wanted to know if some proof is needed for cohabition for these 2 years . Sadly , I don't have my spouse name in any of the bills together . Will it be a problem?

Proof of cohabitation should be provided since your spouse was last given a PBS dep extension up to a max of 2 years,

I did not get the response.
She has extended as again dependent of mine for another 3 years without any proof.
But for ILR: Is the proof a must?
If I dont have any proof (though we are staying together) something I can manage in short time?

Proof is a must. See what you can get together, anything really with her name, date and address on if you're desperate.

Thanks all,
Proof of Prohibition:
Can the proof only include her name in previous stays?
Is NI Letter ,Bank letter ,NHS letter ,P45 ,Council Tax (only Mr and Mrs My Name, not her real name) ?

dear moderators and Gurus,
Could you please put ''list of acceptable cohabitation documents'' as a sticky as this question has been repeated quite a few times. Thanks.

There is no list per se for set(o) applications there is guidance for set(m) which can be seen here (click) at page 30. You should follow this guidance as it is clear.
