refusal letter not recieved by ukba

Post by david justin » Wed Jun 19, 2013 7:56 pm

I am new to this forum. I got a letter from capital saying I should leave the country but I was a bit surprised as I had an outstanding application with the home office. I quickly called the number on the letter to explain my situation and I was told a refusal letter was sent out on the 6th of april. I was taken aback as I had not received any letter. I called home office and it was also confirmed. I told them to give me the royal mail tracking number which was invalid. I was then told to send a query to ukba.

Has anyone experienced this sort of thing before. My visa expired in January. what do I do.
your replies will be much appreciated

Sorry to hear this mate !
I am not sure about what query to send so Ill suggest you to wait for reply from senior members.
Regarding the application and documents, If they are giving you reference number I am quite certain that they have sent you all the documents, Ill suggest you to confirm tracking number again with them. Best is to check on royal mail website while ur on phone with them.
Also , you can go to the nearest royal mail depot with your identity and bank statement (To prove your address) and try to ask them if they have any package on your name and address.
Hope your correspondence address and residential address is same.
Cheers

O God! I never heard about This before. I just wish that you sort this out asap. That thread make me think that I have to apply quiet early before my visa expires. I still got around 15 months PSW but I still keep thinking to apply for tier 1 ent. :(
