Immigrating to France

hello guys,

I have a job offer from France, and we started with the papers; however it seems that the papers will take much time, so i want to check if it is possible to have a visit visa to france, and then while i am there change it to work viza or (visa du long sejoure)

does anyone have any idea about that.

If any of you are a citizen of an EU/EEA country it does make a difference. It may also make a difference if you are citizen of a country with special immigration relationship with France. I am not aware of any special relationship with Lebanon, though it may be worth checking.

yes, i am fluent in French, English, and spanish; but this was not the why reason i got the job

I would check carefully through the French embassy web site in Lebanon, or call them.

Generally, it is NOT AT ALL advisable to enter an EU country on a visitors visa and get the visa type changed while staying there. I would advice you to wait in lebanon till you get all your papers.

I did check there, but it seems that the people in the embassy do not have a clear idea as well.
