ok..chill out, don't panic..take a deep breath and you will be just fine, now, what u would expect is that u are going to have the appointment with someone from the registry office,u need to go with your wife plus the letter and the passports and maybe a proof of address from both of u ,i don't remember really ..anyway,what is going to happen is,they will call u in an office where there should be someone to conduct the interview, they will ask u questions related to u and your wife, they have already your details because they got them from when u made notice of marriage , right ??anyway, they will ask u for example the name of your wife, date of birth, they will ask u to spell her name and family name, plus to confirm your address and some other questions and vice versa for your wife, they will ask her the same questions.pageup wrote:Hello.
I got my marriage date. Now the registary called for the interview, before the 16 days of marriage.
What can I expect on interview. Who will interview me is it ukba or marriage counixl staff..
Where do I stand now, am very scared
I am thinking might ukba come to arrest me, it is only my stupid thinking.
Please share ur views on interview part.
And on my actual wedding day, there will be some friends of mine who are Compleltty ILlegal. Is it safe for them to attent my wedding. All other relatives are British.
Please give you views. I am very happy and stress because of fear of ukba.
i think if u get your marriage certificate u are eligible to make another fresh EEA2 application,and u shouldn't waste more money in court and barrister fees,i mean,u were refused the first time because your marriage wasn't registered under uk laws so i guess now there should be no issues anymore,if u paid your barrister he should advice u once u get your marriage certificate in hand to apply for the residence card and then you will get the COA and u will be able to start working legally.pageup wrote:HELLO;
I have courrt hearing coming in 4 weeks regarding the refusual of my marriage application ee2 application. because when i made the application april 2012 my marriage was not registered under english law,
but now in about 3 weeks i will have my marriage registered under english law. every thinbg else is geniune. wife working paying taxes. no any other objection bu ukba,
my question is, what are are the chances for me to get a visa, after having marriage registered under english law, stay .? will the judge allow my application on the hearing day means, judge will say to the ukba representative i should get a visa now my marriage is registered under english law.
what are the chances for me to get a success on my court hearing day.
my first 2 hearing had to be adjourned by me on the advise of my barrister simply then i did not have my passport, now i have my passport therefore i am getting married under english law.
also, on my first hearing, judge said, if i register my marriage under english law she do not like to see me in court!..
please guide me for my court hearing. final tips, advise.
i have been in reltaionship with my wife now for 14 months now, i know durable patner rooute requires 2 years living together..
please guide me how i should guide my solictor now. i am very stressed because of immigration issue. please do reply.
i don't think a judge can grant visa's,UKBA does, but he can order the ukba to proceed with granting u the RC,furthermore,if u get the marriage certificate before the hearing and before u pay the £600+ in fees and lawyer's rip off then,be my guest and do it,just send a fresh EEA2 application and wait for COA...then if there is anymore complication which i doubt u get any, then use the money to seek legal advice, but i'm confident that this time , if everything is in order,u will be just fine.pageup wrote:Shall i ask my solictor to adjourn hearing agian for 4th time now, if posible...
In order to avoid cost of 600£ atleast for barrister.
If I do go to court with marrge certificate under English law, can the judge grant the visa on hearing day.
Please advise me, the best and short way to complete this process.
I do not think you ever read the advices that's been given to you so far on this thread, you always come next morning without addressing whatever has been said the previous days.pageup wrote:Do advise me, I don,t know what to do. Solictor say we need to go court this time. After marriage is registered under English law. Already hearing was adjourned by me because my Islamic marriage was nit registered under English law. Should I trust my solictor and give him 700£ to hire barrister, but this tome he say, success will be mine. Do advise me. Please
i don't understand why u want so badly to go through hoops and oops to go to court and pay the solicitor, its a waste of time and money, the judge is going to advise ukba to issue u the eea2 visa that's all...the same thing that u were advise to do several times already.pageup wrote:My silictor have send the my English marriage certificate to ukba on 19 June. Waiting for their reply now ukba.
My hearing on 28 June, if they do not reply then I have to go court with the cost of 700£ barrister fees... Solictoe said.
My hearing already has been adjourned 3 times.
My marriage now registers under English law.
Wife paying taxes. Marriage genoune. Every thing up to the criteria.
Will the ukba come up with new excuse to refuse my application again ee2....
It is my doubt.
